Assistant to the Head of Middle School (Years 9 & 10)

 (Term time only – non-teaching role)

Grade PO2: £33,915 to £36,549 FTE pro-rata

We wish to appoint an outstanding Assistant to the Head of Middle School to provide professional and administrative support to the Heads of School and the Heads of Year.  You will contribute to the implementation and management of school procedures and systems to improve the standards of achievement for all our students across Middle School.

Haggerston School is a mixed school with a sixth form, judged ‘good’ by OFSTED in March 2013.

That OFSTED report noted: “the school has gone from strength to strength since the last inspection. Students now make good progress and almost all achieve well.”  Our latest GCSE and A2 results were the best ever in the school’s history, but we are aiming for much higher achievements for all.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • has excellent literacy and numeracy ideally educated to degree level
  • has successful experience of working with young people and their families
  • is able to build good relationships with students and adults
  • is a highly organised administrator, able to use ICT effectively to support tasks and activities
