Sport BTEC

This is a perfect course for any student interested in pursuing a career in sport and provides a pathway to work in teaching, sports psychology, nutrition, sports science, coaching and more. At Haggerston School we are extremely proud of the success of our previous students with all going on to either university or a career in sport.

Course Overview

EDEXCEL BTEC courses are nationally recognised and give students the opportunity to study a variety of different sports units as well as perform practically. The content of this qualification has been developed in consultation with academics to ensure that it supports progression to higher education or a pathway straight into the sports industry. Employers and professional bodies have also been involved and consulted to confirm that the content is appropriate and consistent with current practice for learners who may choose to enter employment directly in the sport sector.
