Summer School

Summer School 2023 was a great success.

Over 60 year 7 students started Haggerston a week early as they participated in summer school. Students got to know each other, key staff and the building as they participated in a variety  of creative activities. They built elephants out of junk ,took part in a food science lesson ,cooked and worked with a professional artist Darcy Turner making paper sculptures. The summer school culminated with a picnic attended by students and the senior team in the year 7garden. Students made cupcakes, pizza and biscuits and decorated bunting in what was a very enjoyable end to the day.
